To make your bedroom window curtain more attractive, you can add valances to the top of it. Valances are usually created from fabric, but to make some variations you can choose another material such as wood decorated with patterned paint to fit your French bedroom scheme. Almost any bedroom scheme is suitable with fabric valance. You can still choose thicker curtain to gain more privacy.

A French romantic bedroom scheme will need drapes as a good bedroom window treatment. Drapes can give you classic-queen-looking bedroom. For high windows, heavy drapes fit the best.
Blind and Shutter

Blind is good to get more privacy to your bedroom. You can use it and combine it with drape, curtain, and valance.

Two types of shutters are café and plantation. Café shutter only covers lower half of bedroom window. This blends well with beach, Paris, and country bedroom scheme. Plantation shutter covers bedroom window entirely. Plantation shutter also has louver you can open or close when you want more privacy or brighter natural lighting. This shutter looks great with coastal or country bedroom scheme.

Fabric Blind

Fabric blinds are really easy to decorate and make it blended with bedroom scheme. Ribbon and tassel are little example of the excellent ways to make these bedroom window treatments more visible.

Roman blinds fit perfectly for children bedrooms and casual styles such as cottage or beach bedroom scheme. These blinds can be creased up to allow light go into the bedroom and rolled down if you feel cold at night.
